Although many years are gone by, I awfully miss my previous job in the civil aviation.
I do travel around the globe each day… most of the time in a daydream… Quite good enough.
After a couple of months, back from some real vacation, inside me again arouses a strange deep need: unravel another place on earth I didn’t visit yet or wanted to visit again since it was a memorable spot.
The most interesting and evoking moments are those of preparing the next adventure! Since few weeks, at night, I search for details on the internet and travel guides’ books, dreaming about those couple weeks I will spend in Nepal with my friend Nadia. And such panoramas are awaiting us… just enough to lose your mind!
And in Nepal, after the terrible earthquake in 2015… I am sure there is much to do to help!

Anche se molti anni sono passati, ho ancora terribilmente nostalgia del mio precedente lavoro nell’aviazione civile.
Sono sempre in viaggio, ogni giorno… e la maggior parte del tempo sogno ad occhi aperti… Non è male. Ma dopo un paio di mesi, di ritorno da una qualche vacanza, dentro di me cresce una strana necessità: visitare un altro posto sulla terra che non ho ancora visto o che desidero rivedere poiché l’avevo trovato incantevole!
I momenti più piacevoli sono quelli che rievocano esperienze passate, e quelli che passi a preparare la tua prossima avventura! Da settimane, di notte, cerco i dettagli su internet e su guide di viaggio, sognando quelle due settimane che passerò in Nepal con la mia amica Nadia. E questi sono i panorami che ci attendono… sufficiente per farvi uscire di senno!
In seguito al terribile terremoto del 2015, c’è molto che si può fare per aiutare!

È tipico dell’umano… egoismo e efferatezza nel volgere altrove lo sguardo, nell’infligere dolore. Si dimentica di tenere una mano in aiuto, di donare un sorriso in cambio di un saluto… troppo presi dalla sfrenata corsa… verso ciò che ci accomuna tutti: la morte.

Ho recentemente letto (accidenti, non ricordo dove!) che un viaggio si gusta tre volte: quando lo si prepara, quando lo si fa e quando lo ricordiamo.
Io il tuo viaggio in Nepal spero di gustarlo quando ce lo racconterai.
E purtroppo è vero, abbiamo la memoria corta. Fortunatamente non tutti.
