With the flow of time, as a raging river toward its estuary… I grew older with the forces that crumbles like dry bread forgotten in a corner. Maybe because of that, the reflections are becoming more intense, more pressing, even becoming a reason that brings me forward.
It is not easy for anyone, being an helpless spectator. When I bow my head to rest the cheek on one of the cats which are always close, their purr fills me with a new inner tranquility. When I write, they are always present: they influence me in any way, give me ideas to transcribe, motivate my endurance in doing what I do…
Few words, to leave to all of you an affectionate greeting to accompany you during the holiday, which should not only be a hymn to consumerism, but rather a time for deep reflections… about oneself, about the priorities in life, knowing how to give a little love to everything that surrounds us. Con lo scorrere del tempo, come fiume in piena via via che arriva all’estuario… in là con gli anni e la forza che si sbriciola come pane secco dimenticato in un angolo, ecco che le riflessioni si fanno sempre più intense, più pressanti, fino a diventare una ragione che mi porta avanti.
Non è facile, per nessuno, l’essere spettatore a volte impotente. Quando chino il capo, per poggiare la guancia su uno dei gatti che sempre mi è vicino, ecco che le loro fusa mi riempiono di una nuova tranquillità interiore. Quando scrivo, loro sono sempre presenti: mi influenzano in qualche modo, mi forniscono idee da trascrivere, motivano la mia perseveranza nel fare ciò che faccio…
Poche parole, per lasciare a voi tutti un affettuoso saluto che vi accompagni durante le festività che non dovrebbero solo essere un inno al consumismo, ma bensì un tempo di profonda riflessione… su se stessi, sulle proprie priorità nella vita, sul saper donare un po’ di amore a tutto ciò che ci circonda. Auguro tanta serenità per queste feste e per il nuovo anno a te e ai tuoi cari.Giovanni è tornato il 20 scorso ma riparte il 4 gennaio, ormai la sua vita è in Germania.Avrei tanto voluto tornasse anche Mir, ma le cose belle sono spesso effimere, mi resteranno i ricordi.Come giustamente tu scrivi, farò di questo tempo un tempo interiore, di riflessione.Ti abbraccio.
Uno dei più preziosi consigli buddhisti è quello di “lasciare andare”… per far posto a qualcosa di nuovo… è durissimo, non ci sono ancora riuscita! Un abbraccio :-)c
