World Overshoot Day
On August 19 was the World Overshoot Day: in less than eight months we have exhausted our ecological credit. Until the end of the year we will experience using the reserves for future generations.
The economy and the world’s population grows, the consumption of resources increases, but the size of our planet remain always the same! It was the beginning of the seventies when the men arrived for the first time to consume more resources than the earth could produce in the same period of time. At the time, however, the “World Overshoot Day” came in December.
In the meantime, the situation has worsened: today it would take a planet and a half to meet in the long term all the needs of the world population. The Swiss population has already exhausted his credit on May 9, the Americans even in March. If we continue at this rate, by 2030 we will need more than two planets to meet the needs of global resources.

Obviously I will not give up! In every novel there is a formative part that deals with these subjects…
Unfortunately only with meditation and the buddhist path, we won’t be able to bring much changes…

Dear Frank… unless we finally consider the extraterrestrial to help us! But since humans are as well very proud of their intelligence and capability to cope with every thing (like Gods)… I’m afraid we have to wait until the “big one” before considering to face reality!

La cosa triste e assurda è l’attuale industrializzazione di paesi che, fino a pochi anni fa, riuscivano a bilanciare questo disastro umano. Mi riferisco alla Cina, dove il numero delle automobili è crescente e il numero spaventoso della popolazione contribuisce alla catastrofe. Ma anche all’India, nella medesima situazione cinese. Dov’è la volontà a superare questo cataclisma ecologico? Nelle (in parte) masse, sensibili al problema, perché la classe politica, con i mezzi per muoversi in tal senso, resta immobile. Nel lucente palazzo della “morte rossa”, sperando che il malato giri sempre altrove.
Un sorriso per questo scorcio di agosto.

C’è sempre qualcosa che ci sfugge… gli insegnamenti degli antichi, di chi ha venerato e continua a venerare la Grande Madre… hai fatto ricerche specifiche su questo, nel tuo ultimo romanzo tocchi una realtà irreversibile… come irreversibile è la sete di danaro insita nella mente degli uomini! Non vi è speranza che qualcuno (che tira i fili dall’alto della piramide) rinsavisca… Ma ciò che è stato preannunciato sta accadendo…
Quando penso a ciò, aumenta la forza ed il desiderio di schierami dall’altra parte della barricata… Siamo in tantissimi, ormai, e cresciamo il forza ed un giorno raggiungeremo la “massa critica” per cambiare ogni paradigma!

There is hope that someone (who pulls the strings from the top of the pyramid) see sense… But what was predicted is now happening…
When I think of this, increases inside my heart the strength and the desire to take side on the other side of the Fence… We are in so many now, and we grow in strength and one day we will reach the “critical mass” for each paradigm change!
