Vi invitiamo a firmare questa petizione per evitare questo triste destino ai nuovi cuccioli e per garantire la conservazione del lupo.

Soli, affamati e spaventati. È così che i giovani cuccioli di lupo sono condannati a morire in Savoia (Francia), ma anche qui da noi in Svizzera.
Dopo aver ucciso due lupi (la femmina e il maschio da riproduzione), l’ultimo giovane adulto del branco è stato ucciso. Non c’è scampo per i giovani cuccioli del branco, che vengono abbandonati a se stessi. Incapaci di badare a se stessi, di nutrirsi o di difendersi, questi piccoli lupi sono condannati a morte certa…
È implacabile! Il resto del branco non rappresenta più alcun pericolo per il branco. È un’inutile e feroce brama di uccidere. Purtroppo, questo non è un fenomeno raro e accade molto più spesso di quanto si possa pensare. Secondo un articolo di 30 millions d’amis, “nel 2019, la metà dei lupi abbattuti legalmente è stata colpita durante il periodo di riproduzione e allevamento dei cuccioli”.
Questo deve finire, perché garantirà ai cacciatori una drastica riduzione, se non la futura scomparsa, dei lupi non solo in Francia ma anche da noi in Svizzera.
Le soluzioni ci sono… In primo luogo, pascoli di montagna meglio sorvegliati. Un consiglio stupido, direte voi, ma è esattamente quello che è successo nell’alpeggio dove sono stati abbattuti i lupi. Secondo lo stesso articolo, fonti sul posto hanno confermato che il branco non era né ben custodito né sorvegliato.
Piccole mandrie con cani da guardia sono molto più protette di mandrie grandi e incontrollabili. Infine, è stato dimostrato che l’uccisione del capo branco fa molto più male che bene. I lupi si disperdono e i più deboli possono nutrirsi solo di prede facili.
Ecco perché gli “spari dissuasivi” sarebbero molto più efficaci! Ma non vogliono ammetterlo. E non dimentichiamo che non è altro che la natura che fa il suo corso. I lupi mangiano carne. È l’uomo che si è impadronito dell’animale creando allevamenti di pecore… Non è naturale, quindi andate a spiegare a un lupo che no, non può nutrirsi di quella pecora, perché appartiene a un allevatore che lavora duramente per farne un business!
Stupido, vero? Stupido quanto ucciderlo, perché non è in grado di capirlo.
Con questa petizione chiediamo quindi il divieto di sparare in modo letale durante il periodo di riproduzione e allevamento dei cuccioli. E intensificare l’uso di tattiche dissuasive per spaventare i lupi.

Alone, hungry and scared. This is how young wolf cubs are condemned to die in Savoie (France) and as well in Switzerland.
After two wolves (the female and the breeding male) had been shot, the last young adult of the pack has now been killed. Leaving absolutely NO chance for the pack’s young cubs, who are left to fend for themselves.
Unable to fend for themselves, feed themselves or defend themselves, these little wolves are condemned to certain death…
It’s relentless! The rest of the pack no longer represented any danger to the herd. This is a needless and vicious lust for killing.
Unfortunately, this is not an uncommon occurrence, and it happens far more often than we think. According to an article in 30 millions d’amis, “in 2019, half of the wolves legally slaughtered had been killed during the breeding and cub-rearing period”.
We need to put a stop to this, as it will guarantee hunters a drastic reduction, if not the future disappearance, of wolves in France and Switzeraland.
Solutions exist…
First of all, better-guarded mountain pastures… Stupid advice, you may say, but that’s exactly what happened at the mountain pasture where the wolves were shot. According to the same article, sources on the spot confirmed that the herd was neither well guarded nor supervised.

Small herds with guard dogs are far more protected than large, uncontrollable herds.
Finally, it has been proven that killing the leader of a pack does far more harm than good. Indeed, wolves disperse and the weakest can only feed on easy prey.
That’s why scare shots would be much more effective!
But they won’t admit it.
And let’s not forget that this is nothing more than nature taking its course. Wolves eat meat. It’s man who has taken over the animal by establishing sheep farms… It’s not natural, so go and explain to a wolf that no, it can’t feed on that sheep, because it belongs to a farmer who works hard to make a business out of it!
Stupid, isn’t it? As stupid as killing it, because it can’t understand that.
With this petition, we are calling for a ban on lethal shooting during the cub’s breeding and rearing periods. And the use of scare tactics.
