Take Action Against These Cruel Killing Methods
Sign the petition to urge the Mauritian government to end this horrific method of killing dogs and to introduce a humane spay/neuter program.
I like to spend my vacations in Mauritius, and next December with the family I will return there for the six-time… but believe me, getting to know about this horrible practice, make me really sick and think about considering to get involved somehow in helping these poor animals… I am sure the government can do something intelligent and full of responsibility. To kill the animals, without a reason, is a vile gesture and a lot of tourists will not like it and I don’t dare to think about the negative impact on “tourism”… This gives a terrible image of Mauritius and his people, but Mauritians are kind and respectful people, not all are killers!
Please do something to change that and fast! Sign the petition to ask the government of Mauritius to stop this horrible method of killing dogs and introduce as soon as possible a national sterilization program.

Mi piace trascorrere le mie vacanze a Mauritius, e il prossimo dicembre con la famiglia tornerò lì per la sesta volta… ma credetemi, leggendo proprio questa sera la petizione su Change.org in riferimento a questi orribili fatti, mi ha messo sotto sopra lo stomaco.
Il viaggio è già pagato e non possiamo cambiare destinazione… ma ho considerato di coinvolgermi in qualche modo per aiutare questi poveri animali… sono certa che il governo può fare qualcosa di intelligente e in piena responsabilità, con rispetto . Uccidere gli animali, senza una ragione, è un gesto vile e a un sacco di turisti non piacerà venirne a conoscenza… non oso pensare all’impatto negativo sul “turismo”
Situazioni simili danno una terribile immagine di Mauritius e della sua la gente, ma i mauriziani sono persone gentili e rispettose, non tutti sono assassini!
Firmate la petizione per chiedere al governo di Mauritius di interrompere questo metodo orribile di uccidere i cani e di introdurre al più presto un programma di sterilizzazione nazionale.

certo che non è bello leggere questo. Mette tristezza e rabbia. Speriamo che il governo delle Mauritius ci ascoltino
Per certe cose, non è facile raggiungere la “massa critica”… ci vuole tanto coraggio e determinazione nel portare avanti proposte e suggerimenti. Poi dipende da chi deve mettere in pratica… Qui non si parla di “Paesi del Sud”, Mauritius negli ultimi 20 è cambiata in modo considerevole (oserei dire quasi esagerato)… preferisco ricordarla com’era negli anni ’80. Ma il tempo lascia segni indelebili ovunque: in più delle volte sono cicatrici profonde che devastano Gea. Questa è un’altra vergogna, ma come a Mauritius, situazioni analoghe accadono in ogni angolo del pianeta. In molti posti, gli animali randagi vengono rinchiusi e lasciati morire di stenti o adirittura a divorarsi vicendevolmente… in altri luoghi sono catturati e poi mangiati dagli umani.
Un Pianeta che sta andando alla deriva, con le sue abberrazioni e assurdità che stanno marcando a fuoco il futuro dell’umanità.
L’importante è perseverare, non lasciarsi abbattere e cercare comunque di fare il meglio possibile nelle nostre facoltà… puoi contribuire, se lo desideri, spargere la conoscenza sui blog è un piccolo passo!

I finally received your book about “the Annwyn’s Secret”. It took several weeks. I like it very much, although I struggle with the translation. Some words and phrases did not translate in a fashion that I totally understand exactly what is meant, but I’m getting the story pretty much and am very excited that it is being considered for a film. I immediately saw that potential right away. Very much the genre I enjoy. Congratulations!

I know, the translation into English isn’t my better side 😉 even if I think that only the writer can give the exact translation of his/her thoughts into other languages. The original version is Italian, which is my mother tongue, I did the translation by myself not without getting into big troubles… the editor is British and some of my “licenses” have being whipped out or completely changed.
Yes, indeed I am thinking about a screenplay for a movie… the experience with Torino Film Lab was interesting, but I wish to meet a professional screenwriter. And after, I shall see to get some financial support from the Culture Department of my Country. There is interesting money for these things but first, you have to get an appealing and interesting screenplay 🙂

Each living creature deserves our deep respect… and you don’t need to be Buddhist, as I am, to consider this. But respect you can not learn from books, it is something quite deep inside your spirit/mind and it all starts from childhood… :-)c
