Arosa – Graubünden

A volte ci mettiamo a programmare viaggi in terre lontane, oltre oceano e magari sopportando delle trasferte di giorni interi… quando in verità, abbiamo posti incantevoli ad un paio d’ore d’auto da dove viviamo.
A Sara Luna è stato offerto un corso di musica da camera di una settimana ad Arosa, nel canton Grigioni (avendo fatto un 2° premio al concorso svizzero di musica per la gioventù).
Per mio marito ed io è stata l’occasione per accompagnarla e regalarci qualche giorno in montagna.
Già in passato Emanuele Giosuè aveva avuto la possibilità di prendere parte a questi corsi molto interessanti organizzati dalla Kulturkreis Arosa, e due volte lo avevamo accompagnato, di conseguenza conosciamo Arosa relativamente bene.
Abbiamo preso in affitto un appartamento (anche se in una struttura molto grande e certamente non con caratteristiche tipicamente “alpine”) a 10 minuti dal posto dove si tenevano le lezioni e le prove d’assieme.
Sara Luna è stata anche lei molto contenta dell’esperienza che le ha permesso di conoscere altri giovani musicisti provenienti da tutta la Svizzera.
Arosa è un paese tranquillo, non molto affollato da turisti a differenza di St.Moritz o altri luoghi più eccentrici del canton Grigioni.
Ogni giorno abbiamo messo a dura prova le nostre gambe: camminando per 3 o 4 ore, principalmente su sentieri pianeggianti o in lieve declivio.
Considerando che ci sono molte funivie o teleferiche per raggiungere le vette a 2’653 m/s (Weisshorn), 2’496 m/s (Hörnli), Prätschalp sopra Maran e verso il Mattjishorn sopra Langwies, il ritorno ad Arosa lungo i pendii alpini riserba sempre un’esperienza fantastica. Questa volta mi sono sbizzarrita a fotografare la flora locale: impressionante la diversità, malgrado le zone a volte impervie.

Sometimes we start planning trips to distant lands, overseas and maybe enduring trips of whole days… when in truth, we have beautiful places a couple of hours drive from where we live.
Sara Luna was offered a week-long chamber music course in Arosa, in the canton of Graubünden (having made a 2nd prize in the Swiss youth music competition).
For my husband and I it was an opportunity to accompany her and give us a few days in the mountains.
In the past Emanuele Giosuè had the opportunity to take part in these very interesting courses organized by Kulturkreis Arosa, and twice we had accompanied him, so we know Arosa relatively well.
We rented an apartment (even if in a very large structure and certainly not with typical “alpine” features) 10 minutes walk from the place where the lessons and the rehearsals were held.
Sara Luna was also very happy with the experience that allowed her to meet other young musicians from all over Switzerland.
Arosa is a quiet village, not very crowded with tourists unlike St. Moritz or other more eccentric places in the canton of Graubünden.
Every day we put a strain on our legs: walking for 3 or 4 hours, mainly on flat trails or slightly sloping.
Considering that there are many cable cars or cableways to reach the peaks at 2’653 m / s (Weisshorn), 2’496 m / s (Hörnli), Prätschalp above Maran and towards Mattjishorn above Langwies, the return to Arosa along the slopes alpine meadows always was a fantastic experience. This time I went wild to photograph the local flora: impressive diversity, despite areas sometimes hardly accessible.
